Took a leap of faith by booking based on reviews to celebrate our annual girls weekend.We booked both suites and had the entire house to ourselves. The artwork in the home is special as well as the furnishings. Katie makes you feel as if you are part of the family. This inn will not disappoint. We booked for next year as we checked out..I think that says it all. Can't wait to return.

This is a gorgeous home in a lovely town. The hosts have provided any and all amenities you could wish for. We had a fantastic stay and would certainly consider staying again and again. Can't thank you enough!
True to it's Name - we stayed in the Barrow Suite for a long weekend. Our suite was beautifully decorated with personal touches; spacious; and luxury bed linens, towels, and toiletries. I would highly recommend 34 State.
We spent a weekend at 34 State during the 2016 Dickens Festival and had a lovely time. The suite was luxurious - spacious, well-appointed, spotless. Katie greeted us at arrival and provided us just the right amount of availability while totally respecting our privacy. We spent the first evening enjoying a bottle of wine in the living room in front of the gas fireplace - very romantic! The butler's pantry was a plus - handy and well-stocked. The location is perfect - easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and lakefront. I cannot more highly recommend this lodging - we will definitely be returning.
